Very few people, Christian or non-Christian know why they are here on earth or where they are headed. Two thousand years of institutional religion has been less than successful at remedying this situation, simply planting seeds of further uncertainty and confusion. In the past the church has been accepted as the arbitrator and authority on theology and learning but the facade is now falling apart as an absolute multitude of lies and deceptions are continually exposed. Despite a mandate of helping the people of this planet, the cleverly veneered assurance of the Church under a guise of 'goodness', have served only to create distrust, disharmony and religious wars. There is a reason that conflict is occurring. This book is for those who desire the truth and have retained the potential to search for it.
About the Author:
From a farming community in Queensland Australia, Ian Ross Vayro went on to serve in the Royal Australian Air Force and was fortunate to travel extensively early in life. Ian studied Electrical Engineering and then Classical Ancient History and Archeology. He also pursued his lifelong interest and personal research into the validity of Theology. This interest was also fired up very early in his life when he observed how people accepted the most implausible data when it came as part of their religious education. On returning from a trip to Egypt and Dubai, Ian has put the final touches to his first book They Lied to Us in Sunday School. Ian's second book God Save Us From Religion has been sold in the thousands. This is his third and perhaps most controversial title.
